Introduction
Tuscany Italy
Tuscany is a land with a great equestrian culture, famous for its native breed, the Maremmano. The history of this breed is lost in the mists of time and the first evidence of the presence of horse populations along the Tyrrhenian coast dates back to the Etruscan civilization. The Maremma horse probably derives its origins from these populations then influenced, over the centuries, by the crossing with different bloodlines.

The Maremma horse breed is versatile and reliable, and is the indispensable companion of the butteri for the management of cattle. During this riding adventure, it will be your most faithful friend to discover the history and the luxuriant nature of the Maremma region.

Lunch set up along the route, return in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Lunch near the beach. Return to the riding school in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

From May to September it is not possible to go with horses to the beach, the itinerary will therefore be as follows: departure for a full day trek towards Clodia Island, located at the extreme north of the Diaccia Botrona Marshes; in ancient times this small but suggestive relief of land was an island in the middle of Lake Prile and served as a landing place for Etruscan ships.
